New productions section in collaboration with Festival Interplay/11
CINQUANTA URLANTI, QUARANTA RUGGENTI, SESSANTA STRIDENTI
by Dewey Dell / with Sara Angelini, Agata Castellucci, Teodora Castellucci / choreography Teodora Castellucci / original music Demetrio Castellucci
Dewey Dell – Fies Factory One

Dewey Dell presents a choreography inspired by the universe of navigation: this is a purely idealistic vision, where ships and their inhabitants – sailors – form a single being, linked by work and destiny.

Cavallerizza manica corta | 15 October 2011 – 5.45 pm
New productions section in collaboration with Festival Interplay/11
SPORT
by Marco Valerio Amico, Rhuena Bracci / with Rhuena Bracci
Gruppo Nanou

Taking the influences of Muybridge and Herzog as a starting point, the choreographic process seeks to capture the moments in the sporting exercise of artistic gymnastics that the untrained human eye cannot grasp.

Cavallerizza maneggio | national premiere – 15 and 16 October 2011 6.30 pm
SECONDA (titolo provvisorio)
choreography Ambra Senatore in collaboration with Caterina Basso, Claudia Catarzi / with Ambra Senatore, Caterina Basso, Claudia Catarzi
Compagnia Ambra Senatore – ALDES-SPAM ! – Torinodanza

Ambra Senatore has long explored the interweaving between danced dynamics and theatrical elements. This project questions the boundary between construction of action, fiction in repetition, truth of presence

Carignano | 15 October 2011 – ore 20.30 | national premiere
LA RAGAZZA INDICIBILE
choreography and direction Virgilio Sieni / freely inspired from “La ragazza indicibile” by Giorgio Agamben
Torinodanza – Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione – Compagnia Virgilio Sieni

La ragazza indicibile (The indescribable girl) is the spectre that insinuates itself between daughter and mother, between being complete and promise of the spirit and the body, which Giorgio Agamben describes as “a caesura between the woman and the girl, the virgin and the mother, and also between the animal and the human and between the human and the divine”.
