Ingiuria nasce in primo luogo dal lavoro di TehoTeardo con Chiara Guidi su alcune parole liberamentetratte da testi di Claudia Castellucci. Le parole evocano una sequenza imprecatoria,f ormula, questa, antichissima del canto, dove le parole dispiegano una voce corposa e martellante. L’idea è quella di lanciare sassi con la glottide, scagliare timbri e toni che tracciano traiettorie sotterranee al testo. La voce invade ogni parola, sopraffacendola: la forza ritmica e melodica delle singole parole frantuma il discorso sino a farlo diventare un mucchio di polvere. Per questo spettacolo, una compagine di sicuro richiamo: con Chiara Guidi, Teho Teardo, musicista – ha remixato pezzi per Placebo, Cop ShootCop, Departure Lounge, Marlene Kuntz, Lydia Lunche scritto colonne sonore per film di Guido Chiesa e Gabriele Salvatores -, Blixa Bargeld, leggendario leader degli Einstürzende Neubauten e chitarrista per oltre un decennio nei Bad Seeds di Nick Cave – il violinista Alexander Balanescu dei Balanescu Quartet.

The work was originally the result of the elaboration by Teho Teardo and Chiara Guidi of words freely based on texts by Claudia Castellucci. The words evoke a sequence of curses, an ancient formula of song, where the words reveal a corpulent, insistent voice. The idea is to throw stones with the glottis, issuing timbres and tones that draw underground trajectories to the text. The voice invades every word, overpowering it: the rhythmic and melodic force of the individual words disintegrates the argument so that it becomes a pile of dust.
It is performed by an extremely interesting group of artists: Chiara Guidi, the musician Teho Teardo – who has adapted pieces for Placebo, Cop Shoot Cop, Departure Lounge, Marlene Kuntz and Lydia Lunch and composed soundtracks for films by Guido Chiesa and Gabriele Salvatores – Blixa Bargeld, the legendary leader of the Einstürzende Neubauten and guitar player for over ten years with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and violinist Alexander Balanescu from the Balanescu Quartet.
