The New York ensemble Big Art Group returns to Prospettiva for the second year running. After its success at the Cavallerizza Reale last November with SOS, the company now performs Cityrama. To prepare this production, the Big Art Group organised a workshop in Turin in May 2010. In addition to proposing tools to understand and interpret the group’s poeticism, the goal of the laboratory was to directly involve the characters in the preparation and production of the new play. The Big Art Group was founded in 1999, and it uses media language blending it into the performance in order to create a new theatrical form that is non-conventional, stimulating and very heavy on input. From the start, it made a name for itself on the domestic and international scene, with a number of important productions, including the trilogy Real Time Film, Shelf Life, Flikcer, House of No More and SOS, and the reality-based theatre series The People.
