Performance in collaboration with
Musica 90
Previewed very successfully during the Assedio 2010 review at the Fort of Exilles, Passacaglia Alta is a performance built around the photographs of Silvia Lelli and Roberto Masotti (whose work on the Fort of Exilles and the surrounding area is the starting point of the entire project), and based on the interaction between dance and music, also embracing literature. Passacaglia Alta can be defined as a multilingual and cross-media process that embraces dance with Chiara Rosenthal’s choreography, Giovanni Sollima’s music, the Italian cello player who has been performing successfully on the international scene for years, and Franco Sepe’s poetry (inspired directly by Exilles) backed by the voices of local people collected by Alessandro Bosetti, and the photographs and videos by Lelli and Masotti.
