A young girl wearing a Japanese wedding dress and holding an umbrella, incarnates a white heron which tells her tragic love story through dance against a snow-covered background. Otome-bunraku is a variation of Bunraku (traditional male art), in which each puppet is operated by a single woman and the narrative develops through Shamisen singing and music.
