Un’affettuosa e tenera complicità celebra le capacità del corpo e del movimento, esplorando i limiti del possibile. Questo è Ali, per volare, oltre qualunque angoscia. In scena la grazia di Hedi Thabet giocoliere belgo-tunisino e la forza di Mathurin Bolze, il più bravo acrobata di circo contemporaneo, ma anche danzatore con François Verret, che trova in questa riflessione sul “limite” una rinnovata prospettiva di azione. Mathurin Bolze ha lavorato per il CNAC (Centre National des Arts du Cirque), per la creazione dello spettacolo Le cri du Caméléon, diretto da Joseph Nadj, secondo alcuni vero e proprio atto di nascita artistica del circo contemporaneo. Nel 2001, è stato co-fondatore della compagnia MPTA con la quale a prodotto fra gli altri Fenétres presentato a Torino, negli spazi del Teatro Astra per l’edizione 2008 di Torinodanza.

Exploring the limits of the possible. The opportunities rather than the sacrifices, made possible by a physical deficiency. Crutches that undergo a metamorphosis: from the image of negated freedom to a tool for human and artistic redemption. This is Ali, wings to fly, beyond any suffering. On the stage we have the grace of Hedi Thabet, a Belgian-Tunisian juggler and the strength of Mathurin Bolze, the most talented contemporary circus acrobat, but who also dances with François Verret, who finds a new perspective for action in this reflection on “limits”: bodies reflected on each other, interwoven and separate that explore the anomaly of their appearance to exorcise imperfection in a performance that is surreal, poetic and moving at the same time. Hedi dominates the relationship with his unique self, he carries Bolze on his back, leaving him on the stage to wonder which is the most banal physicality.
