Otello / Studio sulla Corruzione dell’Angelo

CANCELLED

The Piccola Compagnia della Magnolia from Piemonte is a collective of young theatre operators from the Turin area who have always tried to work together as a group, permanently, a “family firm”, in which all the activities are organised by the members themselves. Their latest production is another step along the journey of growth that investigates the link between tradition and research, anti-naturalism and the collocation of theatrical artifice and emotional density. In this Otello, the second part of the three-part work that began with Hamm-let/Studio sulla voracità, the characters in the tragedy are thus bound together because they are something that seems or becomes something else in other people’s eyes and hearts.
